So every year Steve's school has what is basically a prom. It is a formal dinner for the students and professors. Tickets aren't cheap and you have to dress fancy! It was at the Aquarium downtown and we got to sit right in the middle where the dive tank is. We ate fish and steak for dinner.. I know its sad! Who serves fish as at an aquarium?? Anyway we got to laugh and dance and have a great time! Here are a few pics from the night! Next year I will not wear a long dress!!!

Back to blogging...

So I decided to get back into the blogging world.. So there are going to be a bunch of posts right next to eachother..

These pictures are from when we went downtown for St. Patrick's day. That was the fullest train ride I had ever been on. People were falling out the doors and we stopped picking people up. By the time I got down there there were so many people that I couldn't see anything..due to my lack of height. :) So all I could get were pictures from me holding my camera up as high as I could to get anything. I wish I was a little bit taller.. :) What I also learned is that I own NOTHING green! Who knew??

Back to trying the Cookbook...

So tonight I made homemade dinner rolls! They were awesome and I just love the Our Best Bites cookbook! These girls really know how to make cooking easy for people!! LOVE IT!

Our First Christmas in our new place!

 So we enjoyed a wonderful quiet Christmas in our new place! We got gifts for everyone we could and I cooked and enjoyed our first break from everyone and everyone else's problems! We have been here for 6 months and it has gone by so fast! I can't believe how far we have come in 6 months... We have new friends and I have a newer outlook on our life here.It was a great time but I am glad to see another year done! So after the holiday I made goal to do different and fun things. I am ready to get going!

Parks and Fire Stations and GMAT's... OH MY!!

So last weekend was a busy one. We took Crystal and Joey to lunch for her birthday. After lunch we went to the park and for the big surprise we took baby to the fire station and he got to play around with the trucks and clothes and fire fighters. He even got to take a ride. We went to the Wisconsin State fair and ate and ate and ate...

We are trying to enjoy the last few days before school begins. He won't have time to do much of anything as a couple which is going to be pretty sad! However on another note I am totally loving our condo. I just love having all the space and quiet. It is wonderful to just come home to my stuff and my place.

Now to going out with the new ladies group I found online and getting ready to take the GMAT for business school. Alot going on but it is all good and in the right direction.

So we went to dinner for my birthday and enjoyed a great dinner with friends and family.

The Next 3 years...

So it has been a while since I have done this. We have been so busy with moving and birthdays and anniversaries that we haven't had time to do anything. Now that we have settled in means I should really keep up with this so I can have something to remember this whole experience by. I know we looked at alot of schools and had a hard time deciding on where to go and we choose Chicago Kent School of Law. I am excited for Steve to start this journey but I am already cant help but wonder where this will take us.
We talk about the kids aspect of things and say we are sure we will wait till at least he is done with school but I am going to make the most out of these next three years. I am going to complete by bachelors and my Masters. I will do great at work and get all the experience I need to go and get a job wherever he goes. I think that I will be more open to trying new places if he gets offered a job. I started feeling today that I might have been too closed minded on where to go. I am realizing that I dont have a whole lot of girlfriends and I need a hobby. I might look into something to get with a group of women. I realized I dont have many things in common with the girls that I have and I need to find out in this next three years what I like and what I want.
